Need a GP during the evenings or weekends?
You can now book an appointment for urgent conditions usually managed by GP's during the evenings and weekends by directly calling 020 3770 1888. These clinics are NOT a walk in system and are not for on going chronic problems e.g. heart disease, diabetes etc.You will be seen by either a GP or Nurse Practitioner by appointment only. This services operates at Southdene Surgery. Appointments are available from 18.30-22.00pm Monday - Friday, 15.30-20.00pm Saturdays and Sundays.
This surgery is a member of Healthbridge Federation who are providing this service for our patients.
Calls to this number are free from both landlines and mobile phones.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
The Redbridge General Practice "Protected Learning Event" (PLE) is held on a Wednesday once a month (excluding August) throughout the year.
During these events our telephone lines will be closed. Whilst our doors are open to patients for prescriptions and queries, we have no GPs onsite as they all attend the Protected Learning Event. Therefore, no appointments are available on the following Wednesday mornings:

If you need medical help when we are closed that isn't a 999 emergency, please telephone NHS 111. They will assess you and direct you and direct you to the local service that can help you best. NHS 111 is available 24hrs day, 7 days week and calls are free including from mobiles.
